Street scene in Prague, Czech Republic

Not long from our hotel in a side street, this guy was hanging around waiting. I liked the rough background of the facade the wooden awning and the trash bins, so a took the photo from the opposite side of the street.

Black and White made with Nik Silver Efex.

Grænagil

Grænagil or Green Gorge in english. Is a gorge running on the edge of the lava flow at Landmannalaugar in Iceland. The name comes from the green volcanic rock at the opening of the gorge and not the nice green moss on the hillside seen in this photo.

Icelandic waterfall

The first waterfall we visited on the trip to Iceland was Öxarárfoss, located at the rift between the North American and the Eurasian tectonic plates.

I ran this photo through Perfect effects 9 to get out the details in the rocks and revitalize the green color in the moss. The exposure was 1 second to smooth out the water and preserve the sense of the moving flow.
